It was an experience I'm glad we splurged on. I was surprised to find that the dim sum in Chinatown pales to Flushing. We had a 9lb king crab and a spiny lovster served 4 ways along with other dishes. We did recently get a private room with ten of us. The place was very crowded, but because the tables are far apart it was not overly noisy. Been to Asian Jewels number of times, service is excellent, the staff very accommodating. it is a cart dim sum place - the servers wheel carts each of which has a few types of dim sum. You can also drive there - it has a parking lot - but because of construction the traffic even on a Sunday was insane. The Asia Jewels Seafood Restaurant (new name?) is in Flushing's Chinatown, within walking distance of the 7 line.
